My story

Hello, my name is Chloe Battin, and I am an aspiring journalist. I have always been interested in the stories of others. Through my work, I hope to evoke compassion and empathy towards those from all walks of life.

I am currently studying Journalism with a minor in Global Studies at the University of Oregon. I am bilingual in English and French, and currently learning Spanish. I am also an honors student at Clark Honors College at U of O. I am involved in several clubs and organizations on campus as well. I received the International Baccalaureate Diploma while in high school. I was also an editor for three years at the Sheldon High School Talisman.

When I’m not studying or writing, you can find me at a coffee shop enjoying the view or listening to music. I am also a huge Disney fan. My favorite Disney film is Tangled. I love to go on walks with my dogs, Ozzie and Louie, whenever I can.
